I have a Peking duck that is approximately 1 1/2 years old. She lives with 8 other ducks and 2 geese. I noticed 4 days ago she was falling over when walking and trying to eat. Her name is Waddles. She is the only one exhibiting these symptoms. After some research I found this could be attributed to low Niacin. We separated her from the flock and began feeding her a mash with green peas, unsalted sunflower seeds, bell peppers and her regular feed (Dumor non-medicated starter and grower mixed with scratch) She has improved somewhat but when she tries to preen she will fall backwards onto her back. Her balance when walking has also improved some but she is still having issues. She has a good appetite, drinks often and is energetic. What else do i need to try?
