My duck has lost his balance

How’s things going?
Well she is improving! Still not all the way better but she is much more stable in her walking. She also is no longer falling backward when she flaps her wings! She is still having some issues when preening her chest and belly area. She has been on her 1 ml 2x a day Vitamin B Complex since Thursday and that really helped her. I took her out to her flock today and she was so happy to be back with her family. I am adding the B Complex to the flocks water daily in hopes the rest of them don't develop the same issue. I appreciate all of the concern and help everyone has given for my special Waddles. I have stopped feeding them scratch and feeding only the starter and grower feed. It is 23% protein and I'm not sure the best thing to mix with it to get them to 30% protein. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You very welcome just very happy for you that she’s making improvement. And if they are laying age be sure to offer oyster shell for the extra calcium just put it in a separate dish from their feed. They’ll use it as needed.

Love to hear a good news update! Glad she's improving!! 😍
We just checked on her and the rest of the flock and she is doing good this morning. However, her belly and chest are real dirty. When we first realized she was ill, we put her in a water trough to get her clean. After several hours her belly and chest were still saturated with water. I got a blow dryer and dried her feathers. She has not been in water since then until yesterday. Her water proofing seems to be gone now but only on her belly/chest area. Water still rolls off her head, back and wings. I assume this is due to her inability to preen. Any suggestions on how to correct this issue.

Most of the time it will take care of it self once she can preen that area. Is she due for a molt? That can help too. I’d watch she doesn’t chill if it’s cold where you are since her water proofing isn’t in its prime.
