My duck is mean

I have two female Rouen ducks about a month old, and one of them is so sweet and loves to be held. However, the other duck doesn't like to be pet and runs away from me whenever I get close. Both were purchased together and socialized the same amount so I have no idea why one is meaner than the other. Any advice on how to make her like me more?

That doesn't make her mean. She might just not like being handled

Don't take it personally, she's not being mean she just has a higher flight drive than the other. Alot of ducks don't like being picked up or patted but are quite happy to eat treats out of your hand.

I agree with what's been posted, each bird has its own personality, I guess she doesn't like to be touched, most ducks don't.
