Hi,
Please help me. I have a duck, not quite 2 years old and she is very lethargic and has foam at the eye. She also seems to have a sunken cheek. She has access to clean water that she can submerge her head in. She is barley walking/moving. I tried feeding her her favourite, blueberries, and she didn't even finish them. Any help would be extremely grateful!

Hi Sneezy any touble breathing any other discharge other than foamy eye? How often does she lay eggs and has she laid in the last few days?

What do you feed her? When you pick her up does she seem to have lost weight? what breed is she?

Thank you for your reply

She doesn't seem to be breathing differently. She did have one of her nostrils blocked but I was able to unblock it yesterday.
She is a Rouen and she usually lays every 2 months, however, this last time, it was less than a month between laying and she just finished laying this batch last week.
I feed her duck feed that I get at a local farmers market, it is made for ducks. She does seem lighter but she usually does after she lays eggs, she also hasn't really eaten anything in the last couple days so I attributed her being lighter to that as well.

I hope you can get them to take a look at her.

Is there a possibility she may have an egg stuck? sometimes if you let them float in some warm water they will relax enough to where you maybe able to gently feel her lower tummy to see if you can feel an egg. Just don't leave her alone in water since she isn't feeling good.

I felt for it and there isn't any egg.

Try using a saline wash[rinse for her eye] you can mix 1/8th tea of salt into a cup of warm water and pour over her eye. also if she is drinking you can put ACV into her drinking water and hopefully she'll wash her face in it[at the strength of 1Tab per gal of water it will not sting. It is also a tonic.

Thank you, I will try that. Her poop is very minimal right now as she isn't eating much, it has a little more white in it than she would normally have (usually looks like wet sand as that's her food colour) it has a tinge of green but that is from the blueberries
