My duck is vomiting

I don't know what could be wrong. Have you seen their poops recently? Could you check it for worms or anything abnormal?
Yes literally just pood they have no worms or anything, both of their poo is mostly water with some mud threw it so not sure if theyve ate something dodgy in the garden or overindulged in water

If its still just mud and water they are throwing up, it should be fine. They may have just drank too much water. If its still going on by tomorrow, I would recommend seeing a vet.

Thank you very much for your help i will defo phone the vet in the morning just to make sure they are okay but thought id seek advice since they wont be open for a few hours

When my ducks get access to fresh water sometimes they overdo it and drink too much. Then they sort of dribble/ooze water out of their bill for a while. Is it possible they just consumed more than they can actually contain?

Yeah I would definitely say its a possibility they have consumed too much, just weird that they have always had access to fresh water and its both of them being sick at the same time

I live on a pretty steep hill so we don't get many puddles  either way, my ducks stop oozing out of their bill within a couple hours of over indulging so if yours are still doing that multiple hours later then I would be concerned enough to call the vet.

Thank you for your help i will defo phone the vet in the morning id say its been about 2 and a half to 3 hours they have been sick

My ducks have thrown up for the following reasons:
1) eating more than can fit into their crop (oh that slug incident *cringe*)
2) tripping and falling on their full crop (would apply to being picked up when their crop is full, too, but I haven't done it)
3) extreme stress (I have one who throws up in the car on the way to the vet every time)

My duck throw up incidents aren't frequent. If we don't count the vet incidents it only happens about once a year or less with my 3-6 ducks. I think my ducks were more likely to overindulge when they young, now they are 5.5 and 6.5 and the frequency of throwing up seems less - except for the one duck who is terrified of car rides and vets. That's always a sure thing. They also always throw up whole food pieces. Either whole slugs, or whole pellets swollen with water.

Not that your ducks have to throw up exactly like mine to be safe. But this is what I have experienced. If my ducks were suddenly presenting symptoms like yours, I would be concerned. The sleepiness is especially troubling. My ducks are very precious pets to me, and I would take them to the vet, personally. I like to be on the safe side.

Please let us know how they are doing.
