My duck was attacked by a dog

Sounds like an independent duck! What's granulex?  Sounds like shes doing ok though...

it removes nerotic tussue, exudate, and organic debris from wounds. I got it from my vet a while ago. Theres not much left in the can but i hope its enough to get her thru this.

How long do you think it will take her to heal up?

For some reason, I have been missing posts, so I went back and and everything!   I would think another 7-10 days and she should be looking much better! You may have to keep her separate for a few weeks depending on how she does.
I must try and get some of that spray.....
its great just make sure you wait a few days before you use i, you dont want to use it on a frew wound

I got bonnie some meal worms today. She loves them. I felt bad because she cant root around in the yard for bugs and she hasnt been eating her food. Her wounds looks good there is no signs of infections.

Today she started doing something new with me. Its almost like she is vibrating her beak up and down my arm. Ive been petting her front and talking to her since she got hurt to keep her comany she she is very nervouse and sometimes shakes. I didnt get her and clyde until they where almost 2 weeks old and they never really got attacked to me and the older they got the less they wanted me to touch them. But im hoping the arm thing is a good thing?

It sounds like she is starting to bond with you nicely! If you are scratching her and she's doing that thing with her beak, take a gentle look through her feathers. Sometimes they do this because they have lice - don't panic! Duck lice won't live on you...if you find them powder her with a poultry powder.
I put on a latex glove, put a small pile of dust in my hand and just work it into the feathers.
Mealworms - tempting though it is, only feed her about 2 teaspoons/day. They are high in protein and too much protein can cause kidney damage. Try her with some chopped up lettuce, greens etc. it seems like she's starting to turn the corner now.

Oh! Ick! I looked around on her the best i could and didnt see anything. Ill keep looking tho thru out the day. She didnt like me snooping thru her feathers.

This morning she was back to her grumpy self, giving me hard pecks and annoyed quacks not wanting me to touch her. *sigh*. But i cant really blame her being stuck in a bath tub for almost a week now. Even with me visiting her.

I will get a measuring spoon for her meal worms so im not over feeding her and keep trying different foods on her.

Thanks for all your help so far. And sorry for my typo and autocorrect tragedies, looks like i need to preview my post more
