But the suave from amazon and if you don't have Neosporin, its very common in the pharmacy section in most stores. You need to get some kind of antibiotic on his wound, but vetrycin is a good start.

He seems a bit better tonight. Hes even drinking. I have him in the garage in a kennel by himself. I did open his mouth and didnt see anything. I do not have any antibiotics.

Can I explain why keeping him in a garage isn't a good idea?

I see you live in Iowa, so do I, and throughout the state, we're starting to get down to the upper fifties at night, and I know that seems fine, but for a sick bird, heat is a crucial element, as sick birds aren't able to properly maintain their own body heat. Just like most garages, I'm sure yours has tons of flies, if you leave him in there, the flies will likely find the wounds and lay there eggs.

You really should bring him inside, and post some pictures of his wounds for us.

Yes, bring him inside, and please clip the feathers back to keep the wound clear, get some kind of antibiotic ointment to apply to the wound. please post pics after you hav cleared the wound by clipping his feathers back.

The bird looks like a grumpy uncle. Definitely need to get rid of those maggots. Its gonna be like water boarding, but the maggots (if they are many and not a coincidence) will eat its flesh. Honestly it doesn't look a maggot infestation which starts after 24-36 hours. Personally I'd waterboard the duck with peroxide. Maggots hate peroxide. It will also flush the wound, but I honestly don't see a wound minus potential bite marks on the side of the head. The wound will take care of itself as they heal fast from superficial wounds. Maybe the duck just has a horrible case of worms. Mix DE into a treat or its food if its worms. If they are coming out of its nose though that's likely too late. Bird looks good to me honestly based off what I see...
