Having a connection at the PO sure helps!
Hubs has a friend that works there. He had him go in and check.

Ducklings are here and can be picked up at 8:30.

I will of course post once they are in their brooder warming up.

All are very active and looking GREAT!! No extras in the box but a heat pack was and is still warm.



They have already found food and water!!!

Just peeked in on them. They are still at the food and water.
I am beyond relieved that they are here and doing so well.

Going just by the bill colors looks like I indeed do have one male and six females. I know those distinguishing color differences disappear soon after hatch.

My coon hound is now obsessed with the door to that room.

Even worse is she can see them through the cat door in that door.

No kitty cannot get to them. I have set a milk jug on my wire lid to test the strength and it holds a full milk jug. Kitty is 17-18 years old and weighs about 4-5 pounds.

The babies are in really really good shape! I was fearing weak babies but WOW these guys are doing great right out of the box.
