My Ducklings Splishin' 'n Splashin'

I just love when ducklings swim under the surface of the water! It's such a fascinating and hilarious behavior. I got a video of my girls really going to town at it the other day and I thought I'd share the cuteness (or hilarity perhaps; they're going through that awkward stage). Ah, but I don't need an excuse to share more duckling spam, do I?

Sophie, the Buff, wasn't being very daring at first so I got bold and brought the camera in for a close up. Big mistake! She tossed such a giant splash at me! Fortunately the camera dried off alright. I've learned my lesson. Hahaha

Thanks guys! Oh, they have been eating through the whole family's supply of lettuce. I was in trouble for using it all up the other day.

And the warmth is only an illusion I'm afraid. It was only just warm enough that day to melt the snow in some places but I cheated and filled the pool with warm water! That's why everything looks so hot and steamy

I love submarine swimming!

Y'know, even when they qre all grown up, ducks have exactly that kind of joy every time they get into their kiddie pools or other swimming "pools."

But nothing beats little fuzzy peepers having a swim.
