My Ducklings

Ooohhh that's cool! Is that the amount you're keeping? I'm keeping my five for a while until we move(which I hope is soon, but who knows).

How is the Runner mix? My friend's Runner(silver, I think? If that's even a color) is very flighty. Doesn't really want to be around people at all. I mean, she's okay with them being around, but any movement toward her, and she goes running. Her Rouen drake has no fear of people at all. They raised them both at the same time, the same way, so I was just wondering if it was a Runner thing.

I'll have to get pictures of their Runner/Rouen duckling! Momma is about to set on another clutch, too, so yay! Hopefully they get more and I get to take more pictures. :) I'm going over there soon-ish to pick up some chicken eggs(for eating)!

I am only going to keep one male, so the crested pekin drake will be sold. I honestly think it's a runner thing, they aren't very social in general. They will run. I wish I was getting eggs from my clan.. I haven't gotten one yet lol.

Lol yeah, their Runner is laying. But she isn't a fantastic mother. Hasn't abandoned Greggy or anything, but not very motherly toward him either.
Poor baby, well idk why my girl isn't laying. Idk if it's her other mix in her, or maybe her age (which idk). I know why the pekins aren't, but that's only cause they are only 10 weeks.

I think Phoenix was... seven months old when she first started laying? I could be wrong because I don't remember exactly. I did post up pictures, though.
