I have a young duck whos inner eyelid appears to be swelling outward, I've examined it with clean hands and I can still see his iris underneath, but like I said his inner eyelid is bugging out and it looks like there is something trapped underneath. This happened in the span of an hour, he was down swimming in my pond and when I checked on him, his eye was completely normal, but I went down a second time touring him back to his pen and my first thought was that his eye had popped out of its socket! He is behaving the same as he always has and doesn't seem to be in pain, just uncomfortable. please help I don't know what to do.

If he is not showing any other symptoms but just that eye,I would say that another duck pecked it,if thats even possible,or he probably just scratched with something,i would wash it with some water mixed with salt.I think its like 1 teaspoon of salt mixed with water, not sure.
Edit: Did his eye actually pop out or you just thought it had?

No his eye didn't pop out, I can see it in the right place underneath the swollen area. I'm thinking of making him an eyepatch to avoid any further irritation, if anybody has advice on that please let me know.:)

When you do that make sure to keep it away from the others and if possible keep it by itself some were warm (over 85 degrees) till you see improvement and in case it was another that you to it keep a eye and see what one is causing the problem. And as always give it lots of love and affection!
