My ducks first spring!

My Mom has 23 Runners! Every morning they come out for food and water and then they preen. After that, they go back inside for maybe about 45 minutes. And then they come back out, and then they do the same thing again!

We got about 7-8" depending on where you are standing.

The Runners and Buffs did come out again for a while now they are back inside. Some of my chickens are under the wood shed and only 2 Muscovy's have ventured outside. The geese go in and out.

23 Runners I bet that is funny to watch because they have to do everything together.

Yes, the FF is problematic when it's this cold...I'm cracking leftovers out of frozen (rubber) bowls! I think the ducks and chickens have figured out that they have to eat fast in this weather, but they also get a midday scratch and seed snack when it's like this, so no one's going hungry.

I think you're absolutely right about the Runners and their lack of body fat - they're like the supermodels of the duck world.

Mine got corn, scratch and dried meal worms this morning first thing they usually don't get that till afternoon snack time.

It's through here. But very cold. We even went sledding My dh and I how funny 2 old folks out on a sled. Not at the same time though.

It's very cold here too. But the snow is the fluffy kind, so no sledding, snowmen, not even snowball fights

Yep our driveway It's fluffy here to but after we went down a few times it packed and was a blast.

That looks fun! Sadly all of our sleds broke, so my sisters and I should ask for more!
