My ducks first spring!

All our wood sleds are long gone this is one of the plastic kind get going good. Some people use plastic trash can lids too.

Is the steering good on those? I could pretty easily see myself embedded in a tree.

Well if you see a tree coming you just fall off. lolI had to do it at the end of the driveway because there is a drop off and the river down below. Didn't want to end up there.

LOL! I could see how it would be undesirable to end up in the drink. You sound like you like "living on the edge" (literally and metaphorically).

Especially this time of year. lol
It's actually fun but scary going down the driveway and when you fall off there is usually a dog there to jump on ya.

My one dog ran down and back up with us the whole time she is sleeping real good.

That sounds like loads of fun! And we all need a good adrenaline rush from time to time, right? My dogs would do the same thing, thinking you were playing with them. It's always a bonus when they wear themselves out, too...but she may have some noisy and/active dreams tonight!

I am not much of a dare devil so the drive way is about as steep as I'll do.

7 inches. Just as predicted for once!!!
My hose is frozen, so Im having to take out warm water in buckets for the ducks to drink. At least theres no mud to play in...yet

Tied my dh measured us at 7" too. and just give it a few days the mud will be back. My poor birds haven't been out but a few times today. We had 6 for a low with 14 now and 4 tomorrow morning but after Monday it begins to warm up and the melt begins. I am looking forward to it.
