My ducks hate being outside!

Here they are after giving me quite the earful the 10 minutes I was away. Lol

Aweh haha have you tried throwing a bunch of thawed out peas before you go.inside? It might be a good distraction.. at least while they last
Yeah I've tried that. They peas last all of 30 seconds at best! I have to throw them in their kiddie pool to get them in there too. Once they're gone they get out usually. I'm convinced I have a pair of very odd ducks!

@2Pekins2Chicks here is her thread, if you have any advice or wisdom that'd be great :)
Today was a lot better outside. So we are making progress! At first they wanted nothing to do with the puppy pen but I put their breakfast (peas, diced cucumber, and a little lettuce) in there and finally convinced them to go in. They were out there while I was cleaning their indoor pen so I was in and out the whole time. A lot less crying the yesterday!

I have a duckling that imprinted on me. Dusty would go everywhere with me, to work, on car rides, and shopping. Dusty outgrew his indoor enclosure and had to be moved out to the "duck den" and he outgrew my purse. It took him and me some time to get use to not being together 24/7. Now he as realized how much fun it is with the other ducklings in the duck den. They will get use to it just be patient.

Good to know! I love that they want to be with you but at the same time I want them to be happy ducks. They are going through a skittish phase right now and just about EVERYTHING but me scares them! Being patient is pretty easy because the last thing I would do is rehome them. They are my first ducklings and my heart has grown at least three sizes since the second I brought them home!
