I've been sort of expecting them to lay and sort of not... these must have been laid earlier this morning and they of course already froze in our 5 degree temps, as they were all cracked. There were no eggs yesterday, and today there were three! I have two hens, a rouen and a crested pekin, and one drake (a fawn and white indian runner).
I mostly thought that it would be too cold and such, but I guess not. I'll out early tomorrow checking often so we can grab a few before they crack, as we can't wait to eat one.
Or incubate one.
