My ducks won't return to the coop

I have learned that when meet ducks give me a hard time coming in it was because vib was over feeding them. I suggest you only feed when you put them up n feed a bit less so they are hungry.
I say when I read your post I also thought it was mating behavior.
Have you considered saying females to your flock?

Wow, I guess it's been a while since I've logged on so I'm just seeing this. It's funny my husband and I were just saying the other day what suckers we are running out bringing them food all day (don't ask) all I can say is Florida rain. Instead of feeding them when they come in at night like most normal people do.

Alas, we found a solution for when they decide to be stubborn and not come in at night, which actually doesn't happen very much now, they're back to coming in. A high power green laser light someone on here suggested. It works like a charm every time! It is amazing.

But yes! We need to get our act together, stop taking them food every time they show up at the porch making noise and feed them in the evening 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️😃
