My Easter Egger

Why does my Easter Egger jerk her neck I wanted to post a video but wouldn't let me kind of hard to explain ....it's like she moves it around ugh sorry don't no if this even helps she's about 41/2 months old ?

When is she doing this - is it after she has eaten, when you approach her, etc.? How often does she do it? Is she stretching her neck up and out to the front, with or without the beak opening or is it more of a jerky side-to-side type of action?

It's a jerky side to side and it happens randomly and I've noticed her start to do it more and more beak is closed

Does she prance around while she does it?

She stands or sometimes takes a couple steps I wouldn't say prance though

Mine sometimes prances around and moves her head from side to side. She's just skittish. I was wondering if yours could be anything like that...

Mine is almost exactly the same age too.

No I don't think it's because she skiddish she jumps on our heads haha ....we sit in the coop talking to them and she does this ...just odd just wanna make sure nothing serious

Good. I'm not really sure what to tell you. Do you have any roosters though?

Well when we brought her home at 4 weeks we also got another Easter Egger which turned out to be a rooster we had to get rid of him cause our neighbor hood were not allowed to have rooster so we just have 5 hens
