My EE at 8 weeks...Roo or Hen??

Roo. That red color pattern on the wings and back is a boy thing. If they don't have the red, it still may be a boy so it's not an either/or thing.

Hi MaryAnn- your EE (roo?) looks alot like mine, I have a 7 week old EE that looks very similar, except he has a little more black on him. I think I have 5 hens and one roo, I think he is a roo because he has the red comb comming in and also his feet are HUGE! He seemed to develop alot quicker than the girls, someone once told me that is one way you can tell its a roo. Im just learning, and having alot of fun, I would love to post picks but I have dial up and takes forever!!! If I have time I can post pick of my EE...

Hi! I would guess roo... due to the size & color of the comb. pullets combs stay lighter longer & and they'r not as big.
