my egg carton is wet!

Apparently my eggs in the carton were a little heavier and/or my water whatchacallits were too full. I have eggs in that cardboard carton. Will it dry? Do I need to pull all those eggs out and lay them on the wire now (no more cartons here). The entire carton is not wet, just two rows.

why do I do this to myself?

28 of those eggs are on Day 2 and the remainder are on Day 11.

Egg shells are porous. Sitting in a wet carton there is the possibility that something in the carton could leech into the eggs. I would take them out.
