My Eggs are Cheeping! Due to Hatch 12/4!

Quote:
I picked up a too-techie looking Lyons Turn X and it is a totally clear dome. Really impressive compared to the LG I toyed with 15 years ago.
I figure that if the hatch rate is really as good and high as I've read then its the equivalent of setting 1.5 to 2 dozen in a LG style box.

So far 16 out of the 18 show development with two having been clear and infertile.

Are let y'all know.

Haha, nice try! I already love ALL of them. It's going to be a sad day when I need to thin down. As soon as I hear them cheep in the egg, I love them!

Now that my incubator fried in the middle of hatching these chicks, I will be doing some serious looking for a new incubator. I'll check this one out, thanks for sharing! Also thinking about a Brinsea....

Yay!!! I have some pretty active chick embryos at 11 days.

Candled today and every single egg 16 of them had very active chickies-to-be.
Some air gaps were larger than others. Humidity is holding pretty high at 65-67%
I hope that's not too high at this stage.

Congrats! Sounds like your incubator is doing very well. It looks neat. I hope to find something a little bigger maybe, but I really like the great view that gives. Try to get your humidity down though if you can, that's really high and can create problems. Remove any water, maybe increase ventilation.
I was waiting on two more eggs, just got home to find one hatched! I have another paint or white baby, can't see spots yet.

my last one hatches. My next batch is due about the 23rd....

YES, I am definately working on getting that Humidity down. I've screwed down the external water bottle down a couple of turns to see if I can get it down equal or a little less than 60% humidity till lock down time. Exciting!!!
