they are on day 18 "lock down"? and started to rock yesterday/today? why?
 
It can happen... What breed are you hatching? If they are seramas they tend to hatch early... Also temps.. A little too high of temp will cause an early hatch.

But more than likely, she just wanted to get out

Seriously The rocking motion is the chick moving inside of the egg. It is getting ready to pip.
 
That happened to me. I went to lock down the bator and I already had a chick!!!! Good luck with your hatch.
