My Emu Egg is Rocking !!!!

I have about 2 weeks left on the first egg, a week more on the other. I got curious since I didn't check fertility until the 3 rd egg, so I took out the first egg and placed on the counter and watched....... small rocking.... I focused my eyes... still....... then a big jump in the egg and hard rocking. YEAH!!!!

Then it did it again. With a grin I put it back in the bator..... Hope all goes well. Right now it is still about 97 degrees and running 33-35 humidity.

I looked on the calendar.... it's day 40 for the 1 st egg, so sooner than I thought.

I know, it takes soooooo long, and I have so little patience.

still think i am gonna get one of dem fancy self turning bators. then to figgure out what to do with 20-30 emu chicks ???? oh I checked my calendar too its only day 10 .. oops gotta go turn dem eggs

You'd be surprised, I have a lot of people ask me if I'm selling any. I bought 2 a year ago that were suppose to be females... both boys.

So I had to sell them... didn't have a problem.
