My Exotic and Migratory Ducks [Destinduck] (Photos)

Hey destinduck,

I would love to stop by and see your ducks. I'm in Destin nearly everyday working. I'm interested in some exotics. I used to see a couple of your breeds on the east coast when I lived off the chesapeake bay. Beautiful.

Shawn,
That's an awsome looking can and pair of shovelers ya got there....poor ol shelducks in their isolation chanbers, LOL It's a shame they have to be so dang grumpy, they'd be beautiful in a mixed collection

Thanks Aubrey, I have a trio each on the cans and shovelers. I probably would have taken better pics if I would have had more clothes on besides shorts and short sleeve shirt.( Brrrr! Ill do better next time) The Europeans are mellow enough for the community pen. But the male Paridise would just assume kill you than look at ya.

Shoot Im back 25 ft and look at that head down. She's all bluff and noise. They get so wound up that if I hang around the pen during breeding season they start beating each others brains out. But the male always puts her in her place. Last year I had someone give me an extra male and when I took out her male and replaced it with the new one she knew it and beat the crap out of him.If I was'nt there to get him out she would have killed him. THEN I put back her boy and she didnt touch him they both just fussed at me.

I have new ducks coming this week that I will show you with pics. Ill give yall a hint though. They are very little ducks and they are not any type of teal. So that narrows it down a whole lot! Let the guessing begin all you duck people.

yep, that sounds like them to me, and yep, I did have my europeans in the big pen with others just fine, and radjahs too, but none of the others for sure.

Knowing you, I'll guess african pygmys, LOL (but then they are close to the teal family, so...)

That or buffleheads.

Nope Last hint not sea ducks. I wish I could find someone that would want to trade some radjads or australians for some of mine(babies) just for something new. I 'd make it worth their while of course. I don't have the buffles or hoodies anymore. But out of all my photos thats the only ones I dont still have. When I first got the paradise shelducks everybody hated them, including my wife. Now she loves them because they only start making their different loud noises when either a raccoon.possum or person is coming around. Used to be yotes too believe or not. But have'nt seen one in about 5 years thank God. And the way they they stick their head through the fence you'd think they would be "sittin ducks". But I saw one time where the chain link was so tore up (Had to be a dog)they could have got out but not a feather out of place. Lucky I guess or that dang mean.

No Im waiting on your babies first Donna.
