My eye is twitching O.o

No seriously... my eye lid is twitching! Can we say STRESSED anyone!?

Anyway - My eye lid has been twitching for two days now... anyone have a remedy???

My eyelid/s twitch quite often. I don't have the foggiest what causes it but I just ignore it until it goes away. Maybe you should do something nice for yourself, read a book, take a bath, read a book while taking a bath ....... It couldn't hurt and might just help.

That sounds WONDERFUL! Unfortunately I will have to wait till the hubby comes home from his Airsoft event to do so.. ha ha. My two little ones would have run of the house!

I just did a search for facial tics/twitches, and learned that the uncontrollable eyelid twitch is of a type called "benign essential blepharospasm." It is thought to be caused by a nerve in your brain that is misfiring, and can be worsened by dry eyes, stress, lack of sleep, caffeine, or very bright light.

I have trouble with the twitching eyelids myself, sometimes a medication brings it on, but, mostly it seems when I am very stressed. Really, relaxing and slowing down - clear all the "to do" things from your mental list and it does go away.
