My Finished Coop

My husband put a lot of time into it...he shingled the roof too..got a hawk that flys over all the time so we were not taking any chances..I had him putting the small open hardware cloth wire over the regular chicken wire...no openings.. yes I like it too..now just can't wait to fill it up..I shall be busy I think..I got a noisy little turkey in the other room that hatched this afternoon...

No plans hubby designed in his head as he went along..would be a busy job going across country building for BYC wouldn't it..I like it alot..like a chicken hotel..got any extra chicks haven't got room for just send my way..LOL Wish had some grown ones that were already laying and crowing...

lovely. did you know an aluminum pie plate over the feed thingy works great? I cut two slits to accomodate the hanging wires and to cover the top. works great.
