#20 has hatched. it looks black.

no new pips. hopefully I wake up tomorrow to lots more pips. a bit worried about #40 since I saw it was internally pipped this morning and hasn't done anything.

I woke up (who am I kidding, didn't hardly sleep with all the chirping) to 4 hatched and 5 more pips and today is day 21

I woke up at 3:45 and had to peek, had a couple more pips but nothing from #40 still.

Then woke up a like 4 hrs later and had 2 new babies and a couple more pips. One was just starting to zip. As I was taking pictures since 3 were in the corner together one of the chicks moved so it blurred so instantly took another one and the one zipping popped out so fast to photo bomb!!!!!! haahaa.

I have 3 Chocolate Emeralds hatch (with her mix they should have been chocolate for pullets and black for cockerels, well she noticed her last hatch some were coming out lavender which she told me and gave me the option to pick other eggs but I chose not to). so I have 2 lavender and 1 dark, not sure if black or chocolate yet since that is the one that just hatched.

I did a peep hole on 40 and no movement (after I candled and saw nothing) so did an eggtopsy. looked like there was a long slit in the inner membrane but the beak wasn't there. not sure if it spun and suffocated itself? RIP sweet #40.

so we have 33, 38 and 36 that hatched (need to check on the last one)

Then 29 and 39 pipped.

53 is still pipped and 35 is still pipped. HATE when they pip and then do nothing since some that hatched weren't even pipped when I went to bed. These were pipped earlier and still nothing....

#53 just hatched. It looks so similar to the last Chocolate Emerald that hatched! Hoping 53 has feathered feet so I can tell them apart! LOL
