This is an exciting time. Try not to be disappointed if you don't see them on day 21. It was 8 hours after day 21 for us to get some peeps and they are still rocking 13 hours later. Long process for us.

Oh, but how exciting it is!

My humidity spiked way bad, 98% for at least a few hours. Trying to drive it down now but don't want to freeze the eggs either. What do I do?????

UPDATE, I have the humidity down to 70% and the temp is nearly back to normal. Does anyone think they will make it? It's day 20 for them!

i find myself laying on the floor just watching them lol ( mine are 4 wks old now) i truley enjoy them very much .. i use to think they are just chickens but i got the bug 1 day & well now i have 8 babies lol .. hubby is building me a coop..

I woke up at 2:30am with a bad feeling. Went out to check around and saw the humidity on the incubator. It took a while of fussing to bring humidity down so I woke up completely and I have to be up at 4:20 anyhow so I decided I would just stay up. There are lots of nights I don't sleep much or at all anyways. I have a sleep disorder and have to take pills if I want a good night's sleep. Didn't take any pills tonight since I had to be up so early.
