The color of that egg is spectacular! I have a Wellie, and am waiting impatiently for that first dark brown egg. Beautiful!

Nice color! Since you are in Washington, did you get the original eggs locally? I would love to have a couple of hens that lay eggs that color--no roos!

Chookchick. i bought eggs from several places. some of the eggs came from your side of the mountain from a BYC member. I will contact them and see if she minds if i give out her name. thanks
