I usually take the whole batch, you could shag her out for a break while you do it. When she comes back all the eggs are right where she left them.I’m at a total loss on how I should go about canfling my broody pullet’s eggs. Should I remove them all from her and put the eggs back one by one after I candle them?
Did you get the pictures?
So sweet! I have an Easter egger who suddenly just went broody and I don't feel like trying to break her of it so I put 14 fertile eggs under her to hatch.Usually when i have a few sit together, one will take the lead and win the babies. Sometimes 2 will share mommy duties. The others will stay with later eggs and just keep going. I think I’ve had 3 rounds of chicks in one of my Cochin pens and these girls are still waiting their turn.
