You need to pull out your Puss-in-boots face and beg for more candling.
Seriously, I will only candle twice for a broody hatch. once between 7-10 days to removed infertile eggs and again on day 18. For incubator hatches I candle on day 7, 14, 18 and post 21 days if needed.

Okay. I’ll make sure to do that.I do candle on day 0 right before I set eggs to check for those sorts of things.
