Noticed a swollen spot on the top of my roo's foot, between toes. Checked the bottom, and the pad is swollen, too. Maybe slightly pink, but no black spot or head. No obvious wound. He's happy, not limping, I noticed it by accident. Epsom soaked him, slathered in abx ointment, and wrapped. Going to isolate him tonight. Am I going to have to cut him open? At this point, there's no obvious spot for an incision.

Help. It's been a bad couple of chicken weeks. Screwball is still doing great, btw. Screw and all. 0806191916.jpg 0806191918.jpg

Hey me too, yesterday. Only my boy is a muscovy with great talons on his feet . I need to bone up in the removal of the things. Oddly exactly the same size and location bumps on top of feet. Have to see what this would involve for the "little guy". IF I GET ANY GOOD LINKS I'll post em and keep an eye on here. Uck. Big feet big bobos

Amazon has a bunch of products that come up when I search for "tricide neo," but none are called that. On the surgical front, every site I hit says to cut around the dark spot, remove the dark spot. There is no opening/scab/dark spot/head/wound here, and so I don't know what to do, besides soak and dress. I don't want to just cut into his foot without a scab/dark spot as a guide. What would you do? Vet isn't an option.

He's not limping, the foot looks great, except it's all swollen/misshapen.

You will have to order Tricide Neo from a fish supply like this.
