Crowing
Last June we got 6 chicks, and 3 turned out to be roosters. They are not aggressive, but too noisy, especially one neighbor also has roosters. So anyway, I watched quite some videos and finally decided to use the broomstick method and directly skin them - so I don't need any additional device.
I processed 2 roosters today, and kept one for raising further offsprings. They are all about 8 months old, but already quite big. Directly skin them isn't that easy, but with a good scissor and patience, the work can be properly done in 30 mins.
The feather, skin, head, and the parts we don't need were buried in the garden. We dug a hole for planting a new tree, so the rest of the chickens were put inside first.
It's still a heavy thing, but they did enjoy a good life here. Their contributions are appreciated and remembered.
