My First Chickens Are Here!

I picked up three pullets from BYC friend zoo357 this morning! They were hatched in April-May.

This is Lace, the light Brahma:

Goldie (named by my 4 yo niece), the Buff Orpington:

and not named yet, the Rhode Island Red:

They are settling in well so far. No one has ventured into the coop.

Yay! I'm so excited!

* The kennel isn't entirely done yet. I will be adding wire around the bottom and anchoring the kennel. I'm a stay-at-home-mom and will be checking on them regularily.

I'm sure they'll wander into the coop at some point but they have lots of shade and they do like the outdoors!!
