my first chicks :UPDATE!!!!

I’m so lucky I have a broody hen to sit in them. When I try doing them myself with an incubator. I just can’t stop candling them, it’s a stressful time. Good luck with yours
:thumbsup
Same when i incubated Buttonquail except YOU CAN"T CANDLE THEM!:barnie it was so very stressfull! and Thanks! good luck to you to!:thumbsup

let me just say those are SO CUTE! what made you pick those breeds? or did you not really care?:hugs
honestly i really wanted other breeds but i had a deal with a private breeder and the day before i was picking them up they informed me they sold them all. so i kinda just went to some feed stores and got what i could. but i Really do like (and know they are Awesome layers) barred rocks & buff orps, and i was originally getting silkies but my dad said no until the deal fell through and he felt bad so he let me get one. and the Ameruacana's just came free with a bag of feed and i LOVE their blue eggs (lets hope they are not just EE's because the small local feed store said they got them from a breeder) and they actually charged me for them anyway. but i love them all!

all of your chicks are super cute. You may not get blue eggs from your EE though. They may be pink, brown, green, or blue. That’s kind of the fun in them.
