My first Coop - I call this "The ChickBurgh Coop"

Great job, I would suggest two things, even though with a dog you may not need but others may.

1- a barrier is needed below grade around the perimeter prevent predators from digging under and getting in.
2- small opening chicken wire or some other screening around bottom part of perimeter to keep out chipmunks, mice, etc

Great story. Great pics. Awesome job. BUT THEN YOU RUINED IT WITH THAT STEELERS GARBAGE! LOL Very nice job. And especially for someone with no carpentry skills.

Nice!! We decided to put our coop out in the pasture, where there is no electricity. It made building it more interesting. We had to cut the wood pieces by the garage and carry them out. It took us far longer then two weekends and 4 days, so count your blessings!! Oh, and I love your dog, very handsome!!
