My first coop.

To give a quick background This is my first real coop. I had chickens years ago and after reading many threads on here it is amazing they lived cause I did absolutely everything wrong. I will post pictures and information as I go. Please feel free to comment and give constructive criticism. I will be keeping no more than 10 hens. The indoor coop is 40 square feet of actual floor space and the out side run will be 240 square feet.

Wow!! That is a big coop and run. I have 5 hens and have 20 sq. feet inside the coop and 50 square feet in the outer run. So that's 4 sq ft per hen inside and 10 sq ft per hen outside. I thought I was overdoing it!!

Here are the rough plans for my chicken tractor. It is designed to utilize all the scrap we have. I want to move it around the house so we don't have to mow as much.
