So I had been playing with my 6 week old chicks, feeding them treats then went to weed my garden. All of a sudden I heard this noise which made me sure someone was dying. As I was running to the coop I heard it again, coming from inside the coop. I looked in, sure someone was going to be convulsing and dying on the floor. The only one in there was my little sebright chickie, on a perch and looking at me. It took me a moment to realize he was trying to crow- What a scary sound! Now if only the girls would lay eggs at 6 weeks too....[IMG]

And aren't those first crows something? Our Golden Campine started at 5 weeks, and I thought someone was dying too! [IMG]

Me too. I thought something was wrong and then figured out it was our RIR at about 12 weeks trying to crow. It took him a couple of weeks but he's finally got it down right now. [IMG]
