It's hard to believe those same goslings used to pull the ducks feathers out and chase him!
Beautiful green eyes
Your Scovy is gorgeous.. and I cannot believe those are the same goslings they sure grow fast don't they and the lil Yellow Bill is so cute looks like he really likes to get into his feed.
Oh, wow!! She sure is gorgeous! And so lucky to have you!
Love the Yellow bill and how he's being 'big brother' to the goslings...
You should pop over to the duck thread and post your pics there... lots of great people to talk to as well...
And you will find a lot of welcome and support on the house duck thread as well for your special needs scovy/mallard... I have a feeling you'll find lots of like minded friends there, right @Scovy Momma??
She's gonna love your green eyed rescue girl too...
Thank you for the tip
I love the picture of the various egg sizes. I did the same thing when my goose laid her first egg to show my hubby when he got home from work.
21 grams: Bantam egg
36 grams: Maran egg
54 grams: Last store bought chicken egg
69 grams: Peking duck egg
85 grams: Goose egg
Hubby thought that was pretty cool to see all the different sizes. My record duck egg is a double yolker at a whopping 118 grams while my largest goose egg so far is 106 grams.
I had to research yellow billed... So many different ducks in the world!! I started w runners this last June, then got some Cayugas and Anconas. Recently acquired wood ducks, grey calls, Laysan Teal and cinnamon Teal!!! 34 total and now I'm wishing I just had 4 or 5!! It's much easier to bond with them if there are just a few!! That yellow bill is awesome!! How big is he? What other duck would you compare him to?
