No shavings since they were little babies. Just plain ol straw. They free range and get fed Flockraiser plus oyster shell, vegi and fruit treats sometimes. I do have a red rose bush in the yard...I wonder if they are eating the pettals!? lol It's only the one duck who's eggs smell floral. Weird!? Just thought I would ask if anyone had the same expereince. I smelled the egg last night after I washed it and set it in the fridge for the day, the smell had pretty much gone away. I wonder if it's just the coating that smells and when I wash them it's removed?
