My first ducklings

My husband and I are parents of 6 children between ages of 6 and 12. Our children have been home school for 2 years now so we trying to make our home more of a natural learning area. We have 3 German shepherds in our back yard and a very playful 6 month old kitten in our home. Today we purchased two precious ducklings which we are going to raise into house ducks. I have done lots of research on how to raise my ducks in my home. I am hoping this is another place for good information. Thank you in advance for your patience with me and my possible dumb questions

The members here are amazing - very friendly and helpful, so if you need an answer to a question or simply want some reassurance that what you are doing is ok, then post away - we all help each other out here at BYC. There's no such thing as a "dumb" question so don't hesitate to ask.

Please supervise the dogs and playful kitty - interactions with ducklings or chicks usually end up with dead birds.
