That dark one he loves the chickens, they've never seen one, so they are wigging out, but don't bother him, he just wants to clean? them, lol, my goats are just in awe by them as for the dogs, my bigger ones took one look and ran the other way, the puppy, she just keeps barking at them, they are separated with a hot wire on both sides of the fence. They don't really mess with the chickens, I've got some Easter eggers that are living up to their names, they hop over and lay eggs wherever on my side of the yard.

Ditto on the runners, and from the little I know, runner mix, maybe buff, and rouen/mix

They are wonderful! Congratulations!!!

Thank you!!!! My boys already love them, every time they look at them they cackle, they aren't 2 friendly right now, but I figure they will warm up here in the next few weeks. One laid a soft eggs, so I'm guessing they are still young.

Mmmm, soft eggs means not enough calcium in the diet - please give them oyster shell free choice (if at all possible, but something for calcium) A.S.A.P.

Not enough calcium is a health concern, also.

Free choice so that the drake doesn't get extra calcium, which can harm his health. Boys not so much calcium, girls all the calcium they want.

By the way, what do you plan to feed them (I am fascinated with all the different, and workable diets for ducks).

Again, they are so nice looking!

Perhaps some peas for treats will win their hearts.

you have 2 definate runners. the dark colored male in the first picture looks like he could be a runner roun cross maybe? the feamale in the bottom picture looks like a buff to me!
If she isn't laying soft eggs frequently then don't worry too much. but calcium for a female in lay is a MUST! Oystershell is good. some feamlaes dont like it tho. You could switch just the females to layena if your willing to feed them seperatley.

I have oyster laying out for my hens in 3 places all threw out the yard, I have a large fenced in area for my beasties, I'm not sure what I was going to feed them, the guy I got them from say same as chickens, I always throw scraps out for all my animals, I was lost in google land, to find out what would be the best feed for them, tomorrow we are going to make them a duck land, with some houses, I'm sure they don't want to be in the coop with all my crazy chickens. Right now they are hiding in a playhouse.

Question...he gave me some green duck eggs and some goose eggs to hatch......can I hatch them together??? They were laid today.

definitely runners, I have been looking at tons of duck pics lately, still trying to decide myself on the type of ducks to get my kids. I promised them 2 this spring and a nicely built aviary with a swimming pond...gonna be a big project for sure.

Nice looking ducks btw :-D
