My first egg but who layed it?

Very odd.
Thats very young to be laying.
The starlight green egger would be the logical assumption. I believe they have leghorn in them. Leghorns tend to mature early.
But still.

I came out to the coop this morning to find 2 tiny grey eggs. I have 1 wilkie and shes almost 4 months. I'm thinking it was her but there grey eggs and I thought she layed cream eggs. When I touched them it would leave brown Mark's and then they dissapeared so I dont know what that it. I have 2 plymoyths, 1 buff orpington, 1 Australorp, 1 Starlight green egger, 1 blue silkie, and a swedish flower rooster. Does anyone have an idea of who layed it. I'm still going with my silkie but why grey.View attachment 2213450
Can't help on the eggs, as our chickens aren't old enough to lay yet but...go you! And I would love to see pictures of your SFH rooster, as that's the breed I hatched out - we have 3 that have turned out to be hens and 3 roosters.

Yes shes supposed to be laying at 5 months instead of 6 but shes 4 months next week which is why that's odd. One is cracked bc she must have layed it on the wood part instead of the cushioned part but there not green I would say cause now they have changed from grey to a cream green color. Lol sorry this photo is for the other person my phone is just werid lol

It may have been so fresh the bloom was still drying giving it a greyish color. Looked olive in the first pic.

So its going to be a mistery for a bit. You will find out if you watch close. Let us know :)

Lol we figured it had to be Falcon aka starlight green egger. When I showed it to my silkie she got very excited and starting jumping around that why I thought it was her but she didnt lay it lol

Very young???? Thats average age to be laying
I’m pretty sure it’s 6 months
That's why I'm confused 😂but there tiny so do you think it was a fart egg or something
No I’m sure that pullets first lay eggs at 6 months. ( Also there’s no such thing as a fart egg😉 ) Sorry it must be one of your hens, it’s very possible for a chicken that lay one color of egg to lay a other color of egg. A pullet just can’t lay at 4 months, they haven’t matured enough. Hope that helped😄
