Well no it’s just very highly unlikely, also half the time their internals aren’t developed enough to begin producing eggs yet.

Plenty of mixes start laying early. And plenty of pure breeds. Commercial Leghorn come into lay at 15 weeks.

I’m doing my best to not explode, but I am lil...
I researched chickens for four whole years before I got them. The only books on my bedside table were chicken ones. I know my stuff. All the books say the same things about laying. They CAN lay at four months.
