wooohoooo I have my first egg...

now more questions come...
it is small will they get bigger?
it is soft how long will it take to harden up? it is just the membrain I put a feeder of oyster shells in yesterday they have free access to oyster shells 24/7

it came form one if these girls...they are Columbian Rock X red

yeah, it doesnt have a shell, i occasionaly get those.

I was wondering if I was doing ok with them.....I have never had chickens before so I am learning as I go..I have learned a lot from this forum...

its kinda funny i found myself sitting watching them today eating black berries, watermelon, and strwberries wondering if they are happy or not....the dog wags her tail..the cat purrs...how do chickens show they are happy...well I guess I found out..they give you eggs..
