My First egg!!!! Update! 3rd egg! I KNOW who laid all 3!!!

The pinkness leads me to think EE. My BR eggs are light, but don't have the pink in them. I do have an EE that lays a similarly colored egg to the one pictured. She's also the only one who lays in the nest. The rest lay in the corner on the floor.

I think its from the Buffs. Mine lay a light beige eggs.

Congrats! My BO and BR laid eggs darker beige than that. So I'll go with the mutts.

Got the 2nd egg!!!

It's the same color, mabye half an inch longer (still tiny).
And I think my Lakenvelder laid it. I looked at Lakenvelder eggs on google, they look similar to the almost white color of these eggs!

What a cute little girl!
I think a lot of breeds can come up with a slightly pinkish egg. There have been several here who have. It seems to depend somewhat on the amount of bloom that is on the egg. One was almost mauve.

It is so exciting to know who laid what!
I have had to spend the past 4 days in the coop to get a handle on it, but we are just underway, so I suspect, before long, I will have no idea, all over again!
The best thing of all is- somebody is laying, and each and every day we get to go out there and collect our perfect egg(s) and rejoice!!!
