My first EGG!! w00t!

We came home at the end of the day to find ANOTHER egg! So I scrambled them both up this morning..they were delicious. ;-D

Annie, I've read that those Jersey Giants can take up to 5-6 months to mature! I think I just got eggs so early because she's clearly not a full Jersey, if actually a Jersey at all. She was my "mystery chicken" from Mypetchicken..even they aren't sure what she is.

I'll just ride this thread -
I came home Wednesday to find our first egg from (I think) our Red Star Marjorie Sue.

I took egg pics, but they are 35mm and the film is not done yet.
Of course there has been one every day - 3 total - and today at noon the egg I found was warm! It was so exciting and I immediately called my wife and left a message. Haven't ate them yet but am about to fire up the stove.
Oh, the girls are all 23 weeks old.
