So my wife and daughter called me today to let me know that we got our first egg. My wife said it was small, but I had no idea it would be this small! It would have been laid by a delaware, new hampshire, or partridge rock.

The smallest egg I ever got fit into a pop bottle lid. They are called "wind eggs," or "fart eggs." Often times they don't even have a yolk.

Quote:Interesting....how many of them do they typically lay before laying eggs with yolks?
