My first egg

I have the most wonderful chickens. Don't know what one of the three gave me this beautiful brown, hard shelled egg. Two Black Marans and an Isa Brown. The Marans were born in March and have been squating and have beautiful red combs and waddles and the Isa Brown does not squat yet and is just getting color in her comb and waddle. Expect it is one of the Marans. So happy and proud of them. ;>)

Welcome to the world of chickens (you are officially addicted now...) by the way.. did you take pictures with your cell phone in the coop and send it to everyone you know? Well.... I did! LOL chickens are FUN enjoy

believe it or not I do not have a cell phone or digital camera so can't post pictures of my beautiful dark brown egg. It only weights 58 grams but it sure is pretty.
