How exciting!! I had my first hatch this past May and it really is amazing... gratifying.

I can't wait for my buff Japanese banty girl to go broody on me again... I'm hoping I can get her to hatch me some silkies this time!

TOO cute fuzzy butts! Funny how when little they are just a round ball of fuzz n butt-- then the body slowly elongates and that fuzzy butt dissapears. I miss my BRs yellow bumble bee butt.

The black and gold one on the top right in your pic is the GLW. I have one that looked just like that when I got her 2 weeks ago. The barred rock will be black with a white spot on the back of it's head. The austrolorpe will look similar but no spot, and grey legs.
I'm guessing the reddish one is your EE? I wonder how she will feather out?

Congrats! My MPC chicks are scheduled to arrive next week. Do you live close to a major city? If my chicks come on Wednesday (instead of Tuesday), I'll be ticked.

Spamdumpster - I live just outside of Louisville, Ky. So I guess that's not a major city, because I didn't get mine until this morning. I took off work yesterday expecting them, but no show
