My first ever shipped chicks came!

I am so thrilled.... Thank you susan!!!!

These are 6 are her gorgeous Black and White Japanese Bantams. I can't believe how tiny they are. But she did a great job packing them, they were warm, had grow gel and plenty of material to keep them safe during the ship. They've been active and happy since they came and I couldn't be happier with the quality. I just wanted anyone else out there interested to know how wonderful her's are!!!

I will get better pictures soon, been rushing around all day so I had to use my cell phone. Eventually these guys will be in with my grey Japanese when they get older.

They are just as spunky today! I was so nervous about shipping chicks I've never done it before.... but these guys were something that I just HAD to have... so I did it. I wish should would come post the parents pictures, very pretty birds!!! (sustillman)

These guys are absolutely adorable. You made a good choice. Its hard to chose who I think is cuter though... my new Japanese or my silly broody silkies!

Anyways, last night I brought all six chicks out to the coop and placed them under my silkies who just hatched out 2 chicks on Tuesday. Already this morning both mama hens were out and about followed by 8 hungry chicks.

To think.... I have a few more silkies who are due to hatch in an incubator this weekend. These silkies are going to have their wings full!!!!
